FAQ

Will the converted layout look like the original?

Text, font styles and paragraph structure are preserved, and the output is an editable .docx. Complex layouts (multiple columns, text boxes, vector graphics, headers and footers) may differ from the original, so a quick proofread after conversion is recommended.

Can a scanned PDF be converted into editable text?

No. This feature only converts formats and does not perform OCR. Scanned (image-based) PDFs remain images inside the Word file; if you need text recognition, run an OCR tool first.

Are encrypted PDFs supported?

A PDF protected with an open password cannot be read; please use the PDF decryption feature to recover and remove the password before converting.
